Info

33-year-old Klara is a police detective with the Armed Robbery Squad at the Stockholm Police Department. She's an intuitive detective but a bit shy as a person. She lives with her new found love Frank, who is a doctor. When a wave of bank robberies perpetrated by a seemingly new gang hits the Stockholm metropolitan area, the police initially fail in their mission to apprehend the robbers. The robberies are done with military precision and always strike branch offices of the Svea Bank. The robbers somehow elude the police despite at one point being encircled in the forest. Klara, however, finds similarities with a series of previous bank robberies commited in Germany. Her investigation leads her to believe that the robbers are either police officers from the SWAT unit with right-wing sympathies, or former military personnel. Therefore she is teamed up with Greger, the former head of the SWAT unit, to investigate some of their former colleagues - a very sensitive and secretive investigation. They quickly realiz  that the robbers must have had access to information about cash deliveries to the banks. Klara and Greger discover that the bank president's six year old son has been kidnapped by the robbers, as a means of securing that information. Now the stakes are raised for Klara, she lost her daughter in a drowning accident two years ago and somehow she feels that if she can save this child she might somehow lay to rest the daughter she couldn’t save. But her objective to save the little boy collides with Greger and the others' primary objective, which is to apprehend the robbers, and Klara has to fend for herself. As she goes deeper and deeper into the investigation, the emotional stakes are raised once again, when she realized that what she believed was true is a lie.
